Jessica Pinsky is a multi disciplinary artist, who primarily works in textiles. She explores geometry and color through her weavings, which contain many materials that she dyes by hand. Pinsky
focuses on natural fiber because of its connection to human skin and tissue, and because of the tactility of textiles and its connection to human experience and memory. She recieved her BFA from New York University and MFA from Boston University, and currently is executive director of Praxis Fiber Workshop in Cleveland, Ohio.
