CHRISTOPHER KIER

Christopher Kier works predominantly in encaustic (wax) on both canvas and mylar. He uses graphite, oil paint, and charcoal to enhance the encaustic, creating luscious layers with his mediums. Kier’s encaustic works are influenced by mid century modern design, architecture, and geometry. Kier has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the U.S. and Europe and his work is included in both corporate and private collections in North America, Europe and Japan. He is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design, and continues to produce work in his Cleveland studio.
