Pattern Study (Chandelier) by artist Nikki Woods was completed in 2017, and was part of a 2017 solo exhibition at HEDGE Gallery titled Regrets Only. The subject matter for this specific painting is inspired by the reflections and colors seen in chandelier crystals. The canvas is wrapped around a pine stretcher, and is signed by the artist on the back of the canvas.

Nikki Woods creates expressive paintings of highly decorative and decadent landscapes, objects, and centerpieces where images and material merge in and out of states of visual and psychological slippage. Woods’ lush color palette and painterly mark making creates visual sensations on her canvases. She received a BFA from The Cleveland Institute of Art, is currently the director of Reinberger Gallery at CIA. Her work is in many private and public collections, including the Progressive Art Collection.
